Heritage Lutheran Church of Apple Valley, MN selected Think Digital Signs to help them update their existing sign with a fresh look while replacing their manual message board with an electronic messaged center (EMC), also known as a digital display. Like most Churches, to achieve their goals they had to balance a careful use of financial resources with their desire to create a sign that would look great and last for 10-15 years or more while helping them engage more effectively with their community.

What started out as a fairly straightforward project was complicated when it was learned that the existing sign location was in an easement area that had been grandfathered in until changes were wished to be made to the sign. Think Digital Signs worked through a compromise with the city by way of a variance application on the Church’s behalf to install from the ground up in a location that satisfied both parties.
